Mireille Hope Alive Foundation is a passionate startup — the Nigerian arm of a mission already rooted in London. We may be new — but our vision is clear, our commitment is deep, and our goals are already guiding real action on Nigerian soil. Here is what we are building toward.
Where We Are Going
Every great organisation starts with a dream and a determination to see it through. We have not yet completed these projects — but they represent the very reason we exist in Nigeria. These are not just goals. They are promises we are making to the communities we serve — from Lagos to Kano, Abuja to Port Harcourt and every community in between.
Where We Focus
Seven interconnected areas of work, each targeting a different dimension of vulnerability and exclusion.
Nigeria–UK Exchange & Support Programme
Leverage our unique position as a Nigerian subsidiary of a London-based charity to create exchange programmes, cross-border fundraising, and international volunteer opportunities that bring global resources directly into Nigerian communities.
Internally Displaced Persons & Education Initiative
Establish structured education and integration programmes for internally displaced persons, refugees, and asylum seekers across Nigeria — particularly children and young people — helping them settle, learn, and rebuild their futures with dignity.
Children of Incarcerated Parents
Launch a dedicated support programme for children across Nigeria whose mothers or primary caregivers are incarcerated — providing mentoring, emotional support, educational assistance, and welfare guidance to ensure no Nigerian child is left to struggle alone.
Youth Justice & Rehabilitation
Create structured rehabilitation pathways for young Nigerians who have been involved in or are at risk of entering the criminal justice system — offering education, mentoring, and a community of support to help them rewrite their story and contribute positively to society.
Victims of Crime Support
Build a safe, welcoming space in Nigeria where victims of crime receive practical support, counselling referrals, skills training, and the tools they need to rebuild their confidence and independence.
Widows & Bereaved Family Relief
Launch an economic empowerment programme for Nigerian widows and families who have lost their primary breadwinner — providing vocational training, financial literacy, petty trade support, and ongoing guidance toward self-reliance.
Social Inclusion & Community
Establish a community hub in Nigeria where refugees, vulnerable youth, victims, and marginalised families can access education, training, mentoring, and peer support all under one roof — a safe space where hope is always available.
